The
Ansaldo S.V.A. 9 was an unarmed two-seat version of the basic S.V.A. plan (of which, the
S.V.A. 5 was the most common). Most were used as dual-control trainers, but some may have seen action as lead planes for formations of other types. The first two were sent to flight schools in May 1918. After the war, some SVA 9s were constructed as trainers for the same purchasers as the
SVA 10.
This plane comes in both 1:144 and 1:285/6mm/1:288 scales.
The 1:285 product contains two aeroplanes, connected by disposable links.
