C410i Spitfire Mk. Ia

Top cap upgrade for the Muhle R41 2013 that delivers performance approximating or exceeding that of the R41 2011. (REQUIRES a R41 2013 or 2011 baseplate.) This is a high performance Beta C410 series top cap for Muhle 2013 and 2011 razors. BETA: Feedback on utility and durability needed. Please note: 3D printer says "heatproof to 48ºC / 118.4ºF". Material flexes ever so slightly in Ultra Detail Acrylic which surprisingly has enhanced performance. Requires a Muhle R41 2013 or 2011 baseplate. Other baseplates may also be compatible. ANNOUNCEMENT: This Beta has been a success and is coming to an end shortly. Many report these beta caps have become their daily drivers. Unfortunately, there have been two failures, both on the main stem. One likely from a self-admitted overtightening, the other unknown. As we are 3D printing these, the cost to replace is easily a dozen-fold a typical warranty replacement. I know I know, we published these as beta but we did not warn sufficiently about not overtightening. We are sending replacement caps to the two failures and are choosing to bring the beta to a close. Since these caps have gotten such great reviews, we are leaving this BETA open for a short while (TBD). Taking these to a tougher material, including metal, is a logical next step, however resolutions for metal do not yet match that of Ultra Detail Resin. If you have one or more of these caps, don't overtighten, loosen them between shaves, let them air dry rather than soak in moisture... and they should last a long long time. All our Alpha test caps are intact except for the ones we stress tested to failure. Thank you to all who participated in the Beta.
