Product Description
I made this charm to fit in my Medium Silver Living Locket from Origami Owl. Based off the Public Domain "International Breastfeeding Symbol" by Matt Daigle, it represents mother and child and helps me feel motivated to keep up all those late night nursing sessions. : )

This version of the charm is thin, so it can be layered with other charms (I also have a thicker version that won't let other charms lay on top of it). I currently wear mine with birthstones for my two sons.

My original plan was to prototype in plastic and then print in the more expensive silver, but I ended up wearing Hot Pink Plastic or Alumide.

Finally, for the aspiring modelers out there, I outlined my process and linked to tutorials that helped me out quite a bit (many of them from Shapeways) on my blog-- Open Source – Creating a Breastfeeding Origami Owl Charm with Blender and Shapeways
