Julia's Eye

A traverse around the Julia set creates this twisting spiral design with several eye-shaped openings. This model is hollowed to reduce the printing cost, so there is an escape hole at either end of the sculpture. We also offer a solid version that is heftier and doesn't have the escape holes.

This design won an Honorable Mention at the Tactile Art for the Blind competition, hosted by the American Council of the Blind of Colorado and the Denver Art Society. The judges said it was a new concept, and they liked the light feel, touch, and size of the design.
