1/700 135mm/45 Model 1938 Twin Turret (4x)

The 135 mm/45 Model 1938 twin turret was used by the Regia Marina (Italian Royal Navy) during WWII on the Capitani Romani class light cruisers. A previous version of this gun (Model 1937) was used on the Duilio class battleships in triple turrets installed during the 1940s reconstruction.
The gun was developed to give the Navy a weapon with better dispersion than the 120 mm gun used on the Cavour class refits and some destroyer classes (source Navweaps.com).
