Product Description
The Hughes AGM-65 Maverick is an Air-to-Ground tactical missile designed & built by Hughes Missile Systems, for close air support. The most widely produced precision-guided missile in the Western world, it is effective against a wide range of tactical targets, including armor, air defenses, ships, ground transportation and fuel storage facilities. The LAU-117 is a reusable guided missile launcher manufactured by Marvin Engineering for the above mentioned AGM-65 missile. The launcher can be suspended from the BRU-32 bomb rack on the inboard and outboard pylons. Stores fired from this launcher are ignited and missile thrust propels the store to slide forward, disengage from launch and fly to target.
This kit contains all necessary parts for assembling ONE Hughes AGM-65 Maverick missile attached on LAU-117 launcher, at 1/18 scale. The miniatures are also available as x1, as x2, as x3 and x4 multipacks. Any extra diorama accessories are not included and should be purchased separately.
