Product Description
Two Pairs of Pebble 2 (SE and HR) smartwatch replacement side plates and buttons.
Please note that one of the pictures shows 4 pairs (two sets of two pairs together). This listing is for TWO pairs, not four. You will receive one plain pair, and one pair with the pebble logo.
These are the latest design: The buttons are the same as the single pair version. The plates and buttons are printed as one interlocking part: the buttons are mechanical and have a satisfying click when pressed.
You will need a pin and/or a small craft knife to remove the old button material. For the new buttons, all you need to do is remove the sprues, clean up the edges with a fingernail, nail file or fine sandpaper, and glue them on. When handling the new buttons, please be gentle as the material is brittle, and the button plates will snap if they bend.
If your buttons do not move/are stuck when they arrive, please watch this video first on how to free them up.
Here's a short video tutorial on how to fit the buttons. Warning, the video contains flashing images (from the HR monitor on the pebble 2 which came on when I switched on the watch half way through).
The plates and buttons are translucent, but can be painted. There's a tutorial on how to clean and paint this material here.
Please note that due to the nature of this design, the watch will no longer be waterproof.
You might also want to test out your chosen glue on the small bar piece which you won't be using, before you glue the plates to the case. Silicone craft glue applied in a fine layer works well. Superglue will also work well, but you might want to use "slow" superglue!
