Spine for the old Airfix Eagle 1/72
For those who have an old Airfix Eagle 1/72 -like me- I've designed a new replacement spine, totally screen accurate with the studio scale model.
The spine has the right proportions seen on the Eagle II 22" inch studio scale Eagle.
This spine has the right length to fit the Airfix Eagle (wrongly scaled at 1/72), that it's approximately 1/93 scale.
This kit upgrade it's a straight replacement of the stock part, with the same bottom width and total length, but with a short spine top.
So you can use the rest of the stock parts without any problems. Maybe you must do a very light retouch, but very simple -perfection is not possible sometimes-.
This spine also fits the old AMT/ERTL Eagle.
