Product Description
I'm by no means a GUPPY expert, not by a long shot.  However I do appreciate the design, I especially like the idea of taking a recently outdated WWII Fleet Boat and modernzing it with the latest hydrodynamic thinking, all constrained within a budget.  These post war boats became the vanguard in the early days of the Cold War and were pushed well beyond their original design intent.  The last GUPPY was decommissioned from the US Navy in 1975 (USS Tigrone, SS-419).  To this day, 2 still serve with the Republic of China Navy (Taiwan), the SS-791 Hai Shih (Sea Lion), ex-USS Cutlas, SS-478, and SS-792 Hai Pao,  (Sea Leopard), ex-USS Tusk, SS-426, though these are in GUPPY II configuration and have the Atlantic sail.  They serve in a training capacity.

The sail here is of the style produced by the Portsmouth shipyard.  From what I can gather, no two GUPPY upgrades were exactly alike.  And thus, no two sails were exactly alike.  So this is a generalized Portsmouth sail for the GUPPY or Fleet Snorkel updates.  If you're looking for something specific contact me to discuss customization.  I might be able to accomodate depending on the availability of visual research.

This is to be used with any AFV Club GUPPY or Gato 1/350 kit.  Consider also picking my GUPPY and Fleet Snorkel sonar accoutrements set.

For trimming the periscopes from their sprue I'd recommend using a small kerf'd razor saw.  The temptation to use a sprue trimmer could lead to very localized shattering where the sprue detaches from the part.  Something to keep in mind.
