The
Gotha LE.3 Taube was a refinement of the LE.2, with a fuselage of rectangular cross-section and a simplified undercarriage. LE.3s were used for reconnaissance on all fronts in the early months of the war, as well as for their original intended use as a mild-mannered trainer. "LE" stood for "
Land Eindecker" (Land Monoplane).
This product comes in both 1:144 and 1:285/6mm/1:288 scales. The 1:285 model in detail plastic a detachable propeller disk, since propeller blades are hard to print at that scale.
