PROJ-210 LOSHARIK MODEL 1800 FULL HULL btmd 201807

AS-12 RFS Losharik (Project 210) is a deep diving special missions Russian Navy nuclear submarine.  Replacing the XRay and Uniform class submarines, she is designed to perform bottom reconissance missions at extreme depths.

This submarine design is very speculative with few existing pictures.  Model is based on H.I Sutton's Covert Shores website.

It is speculated that Losharik's internal arrangement consists of 7 spheres.  

It is further speculated that Losharik operates with RFS Belgorod (a modified Oscar class SSGN) as a mother-ship.

There are two variants of this model, one with landing skids deployed (bottomed) and one with them retracted and faired.
