This geometric pendant strings the five
platonic solids together for a playful mathematically inspired piece of jewelry.
The ribs of the shapes are intertwined, which alows them to move with relation to one another. The chain of five polyhedral shapes (tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron) can be worn as a long pendant, or you can attach a necklace to both ends to wear it widthways. The length of the pendant is about 91 mm (3.58").
If you are more of a dice person, I also made a version of this pendant that has all the shapes from a
polyhedral dice set as used in tabletop toleplaying games. (These are the platonic solids plus an additional pentagonal trapezohedron (d10) shape.)
