Product Description
This steam dome has been designed from a plan of the NSWGR C30 steam dome and is available as a replacement for the steam dome on the Wombat Models HO NSWGR C30T Class steam locomotive.
The steam dome has been produced in solid brass after a request from a modeller and will add a bit of extra weight over the driving wheels.
It has been designed to fit in the same hole in the boiler top.
The plug underneath the steam dome will fit into the inner hole in the C30T boiler.
The Wombat Models steam dome has been glued in place with a slightly flexible glue that doesn't attack the plastic of the locomotive. It can be removed by pulling and working it back and forth carefully using your fingers.
Clean the glue fully from the recess in the boiler and continually trial fit to ensure that the original glue is all gone or the steam dome will not sit correctly.
