Problem:
I use two different tripods, as well as a Peak Design camera strap. Each of these three things all use the same mounting point on the camera. So I set out to combine all three mounting features together so that I never have to remove the baseplate from my camera again.

Design:
The GorillaPod Hybrid baseplate was carefully measured and re-created in 3D CAD software. I then extended the back of the base, and added the angled slopes required to secure to a Arca-Swiss Quick Release. The width of the quick release side 40mm, ensure the jaws of your own release plate close to smaller than this distance.
In addition there is a hole on the back edge that accepts Peak Design Anchors, to allow a camera strap to attach to the mount. The strap wraps around a thick post, and will hold the weight that the lite anchors are designed to support.
Build:
The adapter is made from high quality Nylon, and is stronger than the original GorillaPod Hybrid baseplate. This is a 3D printed product, but as high quality as any injection molded part. Do not confuse it with at-home 3D printing.
