Manitex 40124SHL Crane Truck 1-87 HO Scale
Inspired by the Manitex 40124SHL crane, this model in 1-87 HO Scale shares many similarities in design. The crane spins 360 degrees, the boom raises and extends. There is a detailed interior operators cab with a raised notch to put clear plastic in the model to simulate glass. There are notches in the bed to allow a ladder to be placed, making access to the operators cab easier, this ladder is stored under the bed in the rear while the crane is on the move. The deck has simulated diamond plate tread. The outriggers are positional, up, down and extend. On the sprue is two spare simulated beacon lights, a crane hook with ball and a ring that can be mounted to the front of the model you use to have a place for the hook to be stored. The cable drum is free and spins allowing you to use thread or string to make a simulated cable functional. To spin the drum a small finger operated tool is included. There are simulated tail and running lights and the storage boxes include detailed handles. The wheels are detailed and roll free. There is an included lift axle.
