Product Description
In the immediate aftermath of the Four-year War, the war weary Confederation drew down the fleet to pre-war levels, mothballing many of the surviving ships. The scout cruiser of Foresight class USS Courageous had been laid up in space dock for most of the war after losing most of its secondary hull to a mine, and after the war it was selected for conversion from CS to CVS, becoming the Confederation’s first dedicated fighter carrier. While it never participated in another war, the lessons learned from its operations were invaluable in creating the first keel up carrier designs.
