Product Description
Under the Treaty of Smarba, the Klingons sold some mothballed D6 heavy cruisers to the Romulans to provide them with an instant warp-powered Navy. The Romulans wanted to buy a fleet flagship, and after some negotiating the Klingons agreed to sell them an unfinished C8 dreadnought hull then under construction. The Klingons designated it the C9 class for record keeping purposes; the Federation classified it as a K9R (sometimes designated KC9R) dreadnought. Only one K9R was produced although if the General War had not started there was every possibility of a second such ship being provided. The Romulans commissioned it the Behemoth, fitting it with plasma torpedoes and a cloaking device. The fans asked for this smooth version (no belly bird, no scallops on the wings, no Romulan insignia) for ease of adding decals.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. (Smooth Fine Detail Plastic makes an excellent cloaked ship!)  Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
