009 Freelance Sentinel Kit Designed to fit the KATO 11-103 Chassis.
This is the third print for a simple eight part kit which has been split into four files to enable components to be printed different materials. Due to the fine detailing of the vents this is best printed in Acrylic. other materials offered are as yet untested.
This print contains the following:
Part 4B (Main Body), This is the second variant I produced with two window on each side behind the door and vents.
Note alternative body styles are available, see Part 4, Part 4A.
To complete the body you will need to purchase the remaining three prints from Shapeways:
Parts 1, 5, 6 & 8
Parts 2 & 3 (Cab Details);
Part 7 (Roof).
You will also need to purchase a KATO 11-103 Chassis from another supplier.
This part clips onto Part 5 (Under frame detail) trapping the floor assembly (parts 1, 2 & 3) inside. The Water tank & filler (part 6) fits in the coal bunker with the filler furthest away from the cab. Some careful trimming of some parts may be necessary to obtain a good fit
