Product Description
Only two of these 1939 well-wagons were produced by the GWR, used for transporting the company’s bulldozers. One is preserved on the Severn Valley Railway while the other saw fame as the base for ‘Dan’s coach’ on the film ‘The Titfield Thunderbolt’ (wagon with coach body separately available).
IMPORTANT: while most models available here have been pre-tested and known to work, this scratch-aid has not been printed/tested by myself, so while the measurements appear correct it is considered strictly experimental.
The following additional parts need to be sourced separately to complete (web links given as examples only):
Screw-fit coupling (best to just glue/pin – mounting point included on the tender):
Hornby Spares - Coupling Unit and Screws - A1X Terrier - Pack of 1

Weight (there are small areas on the underside and additional space within the coach body if necessary)
Optional additional details to scratchbuild (at the builder's discretion):
Brake levers (their hangers are pre-printed)
I hope you enjoy this unusual and eye-catching model.
