25x 1/1200 Trade Boat Game Pieces

This is a very small type of civilian merchant vessel, used for local trade throughout most of the known history of the Mediterranean, from the Bronze Age all the way to the Early Middle Ages.  Although larger vessels became much more prolific during the Hellenistic and Imperial Roman periods, it wasn't until after the complete collapse of the Western Roman Empire that larger vessels completely displaced the smaller trade boats in the region.  This sprue of 25 boats is meant to be used for the smaller civilian boats in Avalon Hill's Trireme board game.
