Product Description
The Chevrolet V8 small block engine is an automobile engines series used in normal production by the Chevrolet Division of General Motors between 1955 and 2003, using the same basic engine block. Referred to as a "small block" for its comparative size relative to the physically much larger Chevrolet big-block engines, the family spanned from 262 cu in (4.3 L) to 400 cu in (6.6 L) in displacement. Retroactively referred to as the "Generation I" small block, it is distinct from subsequent "Generation II" LT and "Generation III/IV" LS, and "Generation V" (LT/EcoTec3) engines. Engineer Ed Cole is credited with leading the design for this engine.
This kit contains all necessary parts for assembling ONE engine model, under 1/18 scale. It can make a fine diorama display alongside with same 1/18 scale (100mm) figures or other automobile vehicles, although it will look just fine on its own of course. Any extra diorama accessories (eg. oil barrels, jerrycans, wheel chokes etc) are not included and should be purchased separately.
