Front extra landing gear bays for the Perfect Grade Falcon
ATTENTION: only for advanced model kit builders. Heavy mods required. Skill level: God.
If you have a Banday Perfect Grade Falcon and you want to convert it into the five legged 5 footer Falcon version, you will need these two extra front landing gear bays.
As you know the later 5 footer Falcon has 5 landing gears, and the Perfect Grade, based on the first 5 footer Falcon, has 3 landing gear legs.
On this shop I'm selling too the two extra front landing gear legs that you will need to complete the conversion.
This kit has been designed to fit the scale of the Perfect Grade Falcon. The landing bays are screen accurate as much as possible and the inner bay has built in greebles and holes for lighting or adding some tubing.
I've done my best to match the hull shape profile for an easy installation of the bays.
To install this upgrade you will need to mod the lower part of the hull. Some putty and cutting will be required.
You need to change also the lower pits holes that you can find here, designed by the fellow chap from The Age of Plastic.
To install the doors unit -with a square frame for easy installation- you simply need to push it into the landing bay hole. You will notice a recess that will indicate you the right position.
To install the landing gear leg -sold apart in my shop- you only need to insert the top part of the struts in the landing bay holes -two rounds and one square, that indicate you the right position-.
In this product you will receive two -2- landing gear bays with 2 door bays units included.
