Product Description
USS Parche (SSN-683) was a US Navy nuclear submarine. Parche was a "long-hull" Sturgeon (637) class submarine that was extensively modified for bottom reconnaissance missions.
Model is after final modifications (1987-1991 overhaul) including: adding 100 ft section forward of the sail containing diver lock-in/lock-out chamber ("Moon Pool"), ROV lauch tube and hangar ("Bat Cave").
On her retirement she was of the most decorated warships in US Naval history.
