I really like my Werkstatt but there's one problem: where does it go? Like many other Moog products -- and vintage synths -- it's self-contained and you put it on a table or other surface for use. It's also not Eurorack "friendly", it has rubber feet on the bottom and power and sound jacks on the rear of the synth.
I started designing and building a custom Eurorack case and got to thinking, "How could I put my Werkstatt on my next Eurorack case?"
A few days later, I had this adaptor installed on my Eurorack. Mounting your Werkstatt requires taking it apart, but you already put it together so that shouldn't be too hard.
You'll also need six nuts and bolts for your Eurorack and four each M6 fender washers and nuts for the Werkstatt. A hex driver that fits your M6 nuts makes the installation much easier.
The Werkstatt is roughly 8.5" wide, so I would say it uses 9HP . If you're using the right-angled, CV adapter it takes around 10HP, you'd need to have a spacer plate under the adapter.
