Product Description
Post war, the Imperial fleet had a surplus of D6 cruisers, which, while powerful in their day, were obsolete. Some of these were refit with a more contemporary Faster Than Light drive system, which was more efficient, generated more power, and allowed for nacelle placement of the heavy matter disrupting cannon. These refit models were used until the larger D7 class cruiser fully replaced the D6 cruisers in service, and then were mothballed.
