Product Description
When the Romulans signed the Treaty of Smarba and received warp technology from the Klingons, they were able to buy a few old D6 heavy cruisers. (The Klingons never threw away a weapon and stored old D6s that had been replaced by new D7s.) After intensive negotiations, the Klingons reluctantly agreed to sell the Romulans a very few D7s (for conversion into K7Rs) and even few D7C command cruisers for conversion into KRC command cruisers to lead the squadrons of K7Rs and KRs. The Romulans gave each K7R and KRC two type-S plasma torpedoes and two smaller type-F plasma torpedoes. The KRC also received racks for fast-launching type-D plasma torpedoes, which were more effective against fighters and drones than warships, but Romulan admirals welcomed the added firepower. Besides the change in weapons, this ship includes a belly bird, scallops on the wings, and Romulan insignia for ease of distinguishing these ships from their Klingon counterparts.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. (Smooth Fine Detail Plastic makes an excellent cloaked ship!)  Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
