Cam Lock Gauge

This gauge is indispensible if you are fitting cam locks for furniture built from decorative 15mm board.
These cam locks and there associated dowels are used to build up flatpack style furniture, they look much better than using white blocks but take a bit more work to fit.
The Cam locks this guage is used for can be purchased from a company called "Screwfix" in the UK.
The Screwfix cams are 14mm dia and need to be inset 10mm into 15mm board. You can of course use other thickness boards as well.
If you are not using those cams you will need to check the size for your particular make.
Apart from the guage your will also need access to the following tools.
Router with a 14mm plunge bit - plunge to 10mm
Drill with 8mm and 4mm drills, 8mm for drilling the side hole to the cam 4mm for fitting the cam dowels
