Product Description
The most famous starship of all time, the Constitution-class (NCC-1700) is the mainstay of Star Fleet.
Presented here is the version of the heavy cruiser as drawn by Franz Joseph in his classic Star Fleet Technical Manual book and associated deck plan blueprints.
Based on drawings done for TV (but not pursued due to costs), the Franz Joseph version featured a slightly larger, much curvier rear hull and different warp engine spacing and height. This mini faithfully reproduces that version of the design. Also adjusted are the various weapons, to match Franz Joseph's drawings.
This is the official Franz Joseph design offered by ADB, Inc. under its contract with Franz Joseph Design.
The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
