U30C Modified
One set of HO scale triple clasp sideframes for the Atlas U33C, U30C or C30-7 drive the modeler has modified to have two front trucks (in contrast to a stock model having a unique front and rear truck). This set of sideframes is intended to represent the trucks that were installed on Norfolk & Western (later, Norfolk Southern) U30C locomotives with clasp type brakes.
If the modeler is using a stock OEM U30C or C30-7 drive, I have designed another set of sideframes to accommodate the unique axle spacing of the front and rear trucks.
