Sims Funnel Rescaled Shorter - as built

A rescaled Sims funnel in 1/350th. The previous funnel was desiged from official Bureau of Construction and Repair plans and matches those nicely. However, those plans appear to be as designed. Entering service, the Sims clas appears to have used a somewhat shorter funnel. this modification of the design reflects that.

If you are interested in building a WW2 service ship, this is probably the correct funnel. If you are interested in building as as-design Sims class ship, then the original taller funnel also in this store is probably best. As always, consult your references and especially photos to determine which is best for your needs.
