30-Foot Gooseneck Equipment Float - Towing

This is an N-scale (1:160) model of a heavy duty 30-Foot Tandem Dual gooseneck equipment trailer, with additional deck space above the neck. It is modelled to represent a trailer in the loading/towing configuration, hooked to a tow vehicle, with the jack legs up.

Based on pictures, prototype measurements & manufacturers spec sheets, this 30-Foot Tandem Dual Equipment Trailer rides on twin 10,000 pound axles, and features a 30-foot deck, as well as an additional 8-foot deck space above the gooseneck, often used for low-density loads or for the bucket of a loader/excavator. Two underslung toolboxes and a chaintray between the neck risers are just two of the many details on this model.


Designers Note: This is a finely detailed, miniature scale model. It is small, delicate and fragile. It is my recommendation that this model not be treated as a toy.
