N Scale Tropic Breeze Orchard Wind Generator

This is a scale model of the Tropic Breeze wind generator.  These were and are used to prevent frost damage to crops.  The prototype for this particular model was found in a vineyard near St. Helena California.  It was one of the first such generators installed in the Napa Valley.  These wind generators were first used in 1946 and are still in use today.  The manufacturer was originally the National Frost Protection Company, Incorporated.  I observed these same machines in the late 1960s in the orchards around Lodi, California.  It is interesting that the pole serves as the fuel tank. Notes: The propellers are printed such that they are attached to the ladder.  These will need to be removed and positioned as desired into the supplied hole in the motor front.  The supplied hole will need to be cleaned out with a drill in order to accept the shaft. 

Smaller features such as railings and pipes have been simplified and increased in size to make them printable.
