Product Description
These Corris Railway Saloon's were rebuilds of the origonal 10 4 wheeled tramway carriages built by 'Falcon Engine & Car Works.' The conversions were made between 1888 and 1893 and the carriages were given the numbers 1 to 4 and 6. This model represents carriages number 1, 2 and 6, the 3 and 4 having clerestory roofs. (Coming soon)
To attach the bogies you will need 2x M3 10mm button head bolts and 2x m3 nuts. The bogies themselves do not need washers as the material acts as a bushing although you can add a pair if you desire. The bogies are designed to fit Greenwich Couplings (or Malcom Savage choppers...I think!) in the 'sleves.' And don't forget you will need 4 8mm diameter 00n3 Parkside Dundas wheels to get your model rolling of course, enjoy!
P.s, I'm very sorry about the price, Shapeways charge based on material volume and size so carriages always cost a bomb.
