Product Description
Motor boats were widely used on US Warships in the 30es and early 40es for personel transport, transporting supplies and stores, and harbor duties. Many were fitted out for officer or admiral transport. These were faster then the launches, but had less capacity. 40ft variety was widely used on carriers, cruisers and battleships, until most of the boats were landed to make room for extra AA guns in late 1942-1943

This variant has a luxury wooden cabin built for an admiral instead of a simple canvas tarp. This particular design matches the boat photos from USS Pennsylvania at Navsource. It was onboard already in 20es, and was probably landed after Pearl Harbor, as not visible any more on March 42 photos. Very similar boats can be seen on other ships, too.

You will need to add a 2 bar railing around the steering platform on the rear, and low railing around the fore deck.

If you need a set of boats for a specific ship, just send me a message. I would make a set tuned for your ship in a few days. List of boats can be found in most modeling plans.

Also, any other scale can be also produced. Just ask.
