Product Description
While it had a rocky start as the Bristol F.2A, it wasn't long before crews figured out how to turn the Bristol F.2B Fighter's considerable assets to their advantage, and the plane gained the respect of both crew and adversaries alike.  Over 3,000 were built by the end of 1918, and they served in France, Italy, Palestine, and on home defense.  While experiments were performed with various other engines, the 220hp Rolls-Royce Falcon II powered most Bristols and provided excellent performance.

Note:  the 1:285/6mm/ 1:288 scale product has two planes; the 1:144 and 1:100 products have one.  Detachable, translucent propeller disks are used on the smaller scales, rather than blades.  They are joined by disposable links to keep the price down, since single-part models are more affordable.  You can break the links with nail clippers, wire cutters, or similar.

EDIT:  Models at scales smaller than 1:144 may no longer be available.  Shapeways discontinued the material for which they were designed, and the newer materials require that each and every model be adjusted to thicken surfaces like wings.  If you are interested in a particular model in a small scale, please let me know and I will prioritize it higher in the queue.

Also available:  a variant with a single Lewis gun for the observer.
