Product Description
This control stick is designed for use with the True Details cockpit tub for the following 1/48 scale models:
SR71, A12, YF12.
I recommend cleaning the part initially by spraying (while still attached to the resin protective surround with enamel thinners. Do not try to hand clean or sand as the part is very delicate.
Once clean and dry, spray with a number of filler/primmer layers (I recommend Alclad Black thinner primer. Once dry, paint with a 50/50 mix of enamel satin black and enamel flat black.
When dry, remove from the protective resin surround and trim the column legth to approximately 8mm and install using slow set non-whitening superglue.
