Typically used to convert slot car to mag steer car. Can be used with Base Frame BF7 to make a complete chassis.
Includes the following 7 plastic parts used in building a frontend for a 1:32 scale mag steer chassis using 2.4ghz RC components.
2 Steering knuckles (stub axle carriers for 3/32" stub axles)
2 adapters for HK-5320 servo arm to hold 3mm x 2mm thick magnet (They are slightly different and only 1 is needed. Use the one that fits your car best.)
1 tie rod
1 guide arm which holds 4mm x 3mm thick magnet
1 suspension beam assembly with pocket for HK-5320 servo
All pieces are connected by sprue to keep cost low. When fully assembled, distance between steering knuckles, measured outside to outside, is about 1.55”. Distance between axes of holes in frontend assembly, used to attach it to the base frame, is .980".

Design incorporates 1.5 degree of positive toe and 2 degrees of negative camber which greatly improves handling and lane changing.
Steering geometry based on Ackermann Principle.
Stainless steel pins instead of plastic, connect steering linkage.
21" diameter turning circle accommodates 9.5" radius guide wire.
Front track/tread only 1.85” with typical wheels---the equivalent of only 59” at full scale !
Wider front track available on request.
Requires:
5 stainless steel pins with .029" diameter to connect steering linkage together.
1 Metric 18-8 Stainless Steel, Pan Head, Slotted Machine Screw, Size M2 x 0.4mm pitch x 10mm or 12mm long to attach guide arm to suspension beams.
1 Metric 18-8 Stainless Steel Nylon-Insert Locknut, M2 x 0.4 Thread Size, 4mm Wide, 2.8mm High
2 Rounded Head Screws for Sheet Metal, 18-8 Stainless Steel, Size 0, 3/8" long to attach frontend assembly to base frame.
