The Martian Colonial Space Force is a largely defensive operation. Marsies prefer to be left to their own affairs, and with Earth/Belt tensions at an all time high, the MCSF is there to keep Mars out of it all. The MCSF battleships are heavily armed, but slow. They rarely leave high orbit, preferring to serve as a deterrent.
