Product Description
So the F-82G variant of ModelCraft's 1/48 Twin Mustang series is pretty precious ($$$). And the other versions are much more readily available, and certainly a lot less expensive ($20 v $120). Furthermore, decals for the F-82G are also readily availble. So if you're like me, you want a F-82G but bought a F-82B becuase its available...with that in mind, I've created the SCR-720 radar pod and flame supressing exhausts to transform your F-82B into an F-82G...Nothing like a 461 mph night fighter!
This is produced out of the White Strong & Flexible plastic and will need some finish work to smooth out the surface as it will initially appear fuzzy/bumpy. Fear not! Multiple coats of filler primer, followed by sanding, will tame the beast. And this material is chosen to keep costs down (note making it ouf of Find Detail Plastic doubles the price, this with the same mark up of $4--that's all I make out of each one).
