Product Description
This little mount builds on our popular top rail RunCam2 mount but sometimes mounting on the top rail is not an option. Perhaps you are using iron sights, running a PEQ box or a low profile optic. In this case you can use the RunCam2 Side Rail Mount.
The side mount consists of two parts. The primary cradle that holds the camera in tight and the tightening arm that with a help of a 1-1/2" #8 nut and bolt (user supplied) pulls it to the rail. When designing this I wanted to make it as versatile as possible so the result allows the user to mount the camera on either side of the weapon. Additionally the cradle can be flipped so the mount can serve to house a selfie camere and the same mount can be reconfigured to face forward and house a zoom camera. To futher add customization the arm can be moved along the cradle to any of the 4 mounting slots this allows the user to further fine tune the placement on the camera.
