This is a kit to fill out that empty space inside those M47 turrets! It gives the turret basket, seating, MG ammo box, AN/GRC-3 radio, and a bunch of details around the turret walls, not to mention the rangefinder and periscopes. It is a drop-in fit for the Italeri/Revell kit, and will fit the Takom kit with minor surgery to the odd "shelf" at the front of the turret ring that Takom added. A separate gun breech is available elsewhere in my shop:

It comes as a "flat" kit of parts because a pre-assembled version is way too expensive! (But we're modellers, right?) Assembly requires care - thin resin parts can break easily. Most of the small parts are on sprue "pegs" that can be snipped with cutters, and the nubs filed flat. The arms for the basket are 17mm long by 1.2mm diameter, so if the resin gives trouble you can replace them with plastic rod. The holes for the arms, and for the gunner's seat, are all 1.2mm diameter and need a quick clean-out with a drill bit for best fit. See the pics for identification of parts. For the little parts on the walls and ceiling I choose to laminate a bit of 0.005" plastic to the back, so I can mount the painted items with plastic glue that gives a little "wiggle time" compared to instant superglue. (In the pics they are held on with Blu-Tac temporarily...)
As usual, clean the parts thoroughly in warm soapy water and then rinse with clean water - this is best done while everything is still on the sprue.
