Product Description
This obelisk was designed around a scale model of the Great Pyramid of Giza and its eight visible faces (not four as commonly supposed).  The pyramid is expanded by two powers of phi (2.618), and a Fibonacci curve (phi curve) shaped egg planted in its belly, echoing the shape of the flame-shaped loop on top.

About the Deep Inner Meaning: I offer this pendant as symbolic of creative consciousness.  It expresses the Hermetic concept "as above, so below", and suggests that the divinity associated with the obelisk may not be the man many suppose it to be.  This geometric androgyne may be a kind of Platonic solid embodying Phi.

The pendant embodies the "squaring of the circle", but to be precise, it "circles the square", (which I propose as the more humanity-affirming approach).  The circumference of the egg and the circumference of the pyramid base are equal.  The ancient hermetic challenge to square the circle stipulates that it be done using only a stylus, string and straight edge.  (Spoiler alert)- This can be accomplished with reference to the ratio of the height of the Great Pyramid to it's base, using this measure as both the radius of the circle and the side of the square.  A pentagram may be constructed to capture that ratio as the larger and smaller line segments defined by the crosscutting lines formed by the arms of the pentagram.

This pendant is suitable for scrying as well as jewelry.
