breakthroughs in technology. Each ship could carry up to 1000 colonists and may have been built for about the same cost as 5 trident sumbarines.
The (fission/fusion) propulsion system is powered by 18 nuclear reactors and the thrust is generated by the 9 particle accelerators running the length of the ship. (almost half a mile) this ship, as a real vehicle; would be 2600 feet long.
