Product Description
This is a set of Kiesel tender trucks for the Minitrix K4. Included in the price are four Keystone Detail Etches that provide electrical pickup with these trucks. Contact Keystone Details at Contract Us page to request the etches for this design. Etches will be shipped upon confirmation of Shapeways order and receipt of Conatct Us email.
The truck re-uses the original mounting screws and slots will have to be milled into the Minitrix K4 tender frame to allow the tabls to be accessible inside the tender for DC or DCC wiring. A very light cleanout BY HAND using a Dremel 107 bit in the axle point pockets on the inside of the sideframe will ensure a flush fit of the contacts to the inside of the truck frame. Care should be taken when gently spreading the truck to insert the axles.
Note this requires the purchase of eight 0.553" x 36" wheelests of your manufacturer choice with metal axles and ther Keystone Details axle insulators here:
