My dearest friend sometimes mentioned how much she regrets living so far from her little granddaughter which inspired me to create what I call a pair of Bonding Rings. To add context and meaning to my gift I penned a fairytale, printed it on parchment and presented it as a scroll with the rings tied on with ribbons. The last lines of the fairytale are ‘The rings each have a name, Linda and Olivia, and the magic is in knowing that when the wearer of either one looks at her ring, she will know that a special bond exists. She’ll know that love binds them together forever and distance doesn’t matter. When one of you thinks of the other, twist the ring round your finger, and if you believe in magic you’ll know that the other is thinking of you.’ My friend read the story aloud (tearfully at times because it was really a killer story!) and little Olivia was young enough to believe the rings were really magical.
If there’s a Linda in your life this textured, asymmetrical ring may make the perfect gift (magic included!).
Thickness is 1.5 mm (comfortable to wear), Height is 19 mm, Ring sizes 5 to 13Plastic is available as an inexpensive option you may ‘Try Before You Buy’
to see if you’d enjoy wearing this magical bonding ring.
Designer’s Note: Do you like the notion of the
FAIRYTALE BONDING RINGS and have two names in mind? Use the
SEND MESSAGE button, tell me the names & I’ll create a pair for you. Bear in mind the working surface is very tiny on a ring, 5 or 6 letters is usually the maximum that will fit and print successfully. When I respond I can include the text of my fairytale to jump start your own story if you’d like.
