Product Description
This custom model is scaled to be appropriate for fleet scale miniatures games such as Full Thrust and Fleet Action: Babylon 5

The Narn liked what they had in the Var'nic (and who wouldn't) but it had some problems. Its lack of long range weapons coverage, provided by a single Ion Torpedo was one, as was the weakness of the starboard hull when compared to the port side. In order to correct these problems and provide a ship to lead Var'nic squadrons the Var'Quan design was created.

When a Centauri attack left two Var'nics which were under construction in pieces it was decided to try out the new design.   The Var'Nic hulls were attached to the star drive section of a G'Quan class heavy cruiser  .  After proving popular for its ability to manuver with destroyer groups and provide heavier firepower then Var'nics could they enter production as their own class.  While the firepower of this new class of ship was greatly increased from the original var'nic design the hanger capacity was not. The Var"Quan is only equipped with the capacity to carry one squadron of medium fighters.

Although they were not built in as large numbers as the G'Quan, some Warleaders openly favor this vessel.

This model is a custom design inspired by a custom design by a Babylon 5 Wars player called Smoot.
