9 wooden barrels N scale

A set of 9 65 gallon wooden barrels in N scale.

They are connected together with a spru that should be detachable with a sharp knife. 
To reduce printing cost these are also hollow and the top is printed separately and will require fixing on top of the barrel if a closed barrel is desired.

Painting

FUD/FED use a wax type material for supports when printing. To wash off any residue there are various ways. I find that a 2h soak in warm water with some dish soap works well. Dry them carefully afterwards and leave them in the sun for a couple of hours to make sure everything is fully cured. 
I tend to apply a primer after this (Tamiya Surface primer seems to do the trick) this is great at showing some of the details as well as small imperfections that can be carefully sanded away.
After that paint as normal. I use acrylic paints and chalk powders and finish with a dull coat.
