18 HO scale oil drums

A set 18 HO scale 55 Gallon drums.
They are connected together with a spru that should be detachable with a sharp knife.

Painting

White/black strong, unpolished, will need sanding as their surface can be quite rough. The polished white will have a smoother surface.
I tend to apply a primer to cover any small imperfections and have a good base for my acrilic paint and weathering.

FUD/FED use a wax type material for supports when printing. To wash off any residue there are various ways. I find that a 2h soak in warm water with some dish soap works well. Dry them carefully afterwards and leave them in the sun for a couple of hours to make sure everything is fully cured. 
I tend to apply a primer after this (Tamiya Surface primer seems to do the trick) this is great at showing some of the details as well as small imperfections that can be carefully sanded away.
After that paint as normal. I use acrylic paints and chalk powders and finish with a dull coat.

I am yet to try the acrylite material. I have some on the way to test painting them.
