Naval Aircraft Factory N3N-3 1/285 6mm

The only model of the N3N-3 primary trainer in 6mm scale. Almost 1000 copies of this primary trainer were built by the U.S. Naval Aircraft Factory in the 1930s. Thousands of pilots learned to fly in these "yellow perils." The N3N was the last biplane in U.S. military service, the final example retiring from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1961.

This model has the fixed landing gear.
