Product Description
I'll probably make better versions of this in the future. The eagles had to be made in two-stage sections, with alternating extrusions and revolutions in order to create the layered details, since that's the only way to make features such as this in Autodesk Inventor. However, once I get proficient with a different program, I may be able to round everything off and make the eagles look the way they would on an actual Fabergé Egg. Perhaps the most unusual thing about this egg is the use of three double-headed eagles. Less so is the array of nine flanges around the base, though any historical design that used such a motif would have had only eight. This is just my own twist on the design.
